Help Process

We work on the motto – “Knowledge is Confidence”.

We use an integrative psychotherapeutic approach, which emphasizes on self-directedness of the clients, making them confident enough to initiate the process of change. This unique model empowers the clients by making them knowledgeable about the theories behind the process of psychological disorders and their treatment. This basic knowledge generates intrinsic motivation; and helps the clients in eradicating or decreasing the fear, confusion and myths regarding their suffering, eventually leading to quicker and better outcomes.

Firstly, we work to understand the problem or concern by talking to you, watching behaviour (especially with children) or giving tests. Next, psychological tests may be used to measure or assess your thinking, personality and emotions. You may also be asked to write down your activities, thoughts, sleep patterns, pain or other difficulties. Treatments focus on changing behaviour or lifestyle (called behaviour therapy), changing thought patterns (cognitive therapy), and working through emotional or interpersonal issues (psychotherapy).
